It’s officially fair season in Missouri, and we couldn’t be more excited to pack up some of our bestsellers and head to Sedalia for the Missouri State Fair, happening August 7 - 17, 2025!
Beyond the food and festivities, county and state fairs are a meaningful tradition that brings people together in a way few events can. They’re an important part of our culture and community where agriculture, artistry, and community pride come together.
The Missouri State Fair is built on a mission to celebrate Missouri’s agricultural heritage, support youth through programs like 4-H and FFA, and help folks of all ages deepen their appreciation for where their food, goods, and traditions come from. A showcase of homegrown talent from blue-ribbon livestock and baked goods to handmade crafts and locally made products (like ours!).
State and county fairs give local communities a chance to share what they’ve created, cultivated, and cared about all year long. They remind us that community thrives when we have places to gather, share, and celebrate what makes us proud.
That’s why we love showing up; we’re thrilled to be part of it again! You will find us on Tuesday, August 12, from 9:00-3:00 PM, sampling a few of our most-loved creations at the Missouri Grown Market in the Agriculture Building.
Designed to highlight products grown and produced within the state, the Missouri Grown Market supports local farmers and businesses, a retail store located within the Agricultural Building. You can shop all 11 days of the Fair. The market offers a variety of products, including jams, jellies, spices, beef sticks, soaps, and more, all made in Missouri.
The fair runs from August 7–17, 2025, and you can explore the full fair schedule, events, and directions at the official Missouri State Fair website. We’d love for you to swing by and say hello!
If you’re not able to make it this year, you can explore all of our handmade products online at lavenderrhapsody.com. Shipping is free for orders over $75.
